My typical year-round lounging clothes are:

- half slip
- tank top

At night, I'll just take off the half slip so I'm sleeping the tank (& panties).

I used to like sleeping in the nude until I had kids and then was widowed. I feel very vulnerable now sleeping without a nightgown or shorty pajamas since I live alone. In the winter (if you can call what we get in Florida winter) I will wear warmer, long pajamas.

This

Since my husband passed away and I now live alone I wear pajamas, always. Long ones in the fall and winter and the shorter ones in the spring and summer.

I've tried topless but I feel like my chest hurts if it doesn't have support - I have this light sports bra made for sleeping. I am freaking cold though so I'm wearing layers to bed! My husband wants the fan on at night. Usually I have these light weight soft PJ pants from JC Penny's that I love. I like them on with no underwear sometimes. I have lupus/raynaud's so the cold is more bothersome to me. I'm too cold to not wear something usually.

I'll come home from work and shower and just put on my PJ outfit for bed and lounge. Thanks to long hours, there's not much time to wear anything else so it's pointless to change for 2 hours then change again for bed.

I typically sleep naked, but my husband changes in to a tshirt for bedtime. It bugs me a little bit...he comes home and changes clothes. And then before bed, he changes again. Makes a lot of laundry. LOL

I have noticed that younger women, who have lived the dorm life, seem to sleep in tank tops and yoga pants, or shorts.

We old ladies used to sleep naked when we had sex every night, but now that we dont, we wear pajamas to keep warm. I actually prefer nightgowns because pajama bottoms are kind of confining.

So, bottom line, I would have thought young women would not wear many clothes to bed either.
