What's with the obsession of how others clean their "crevices"?

It's not an obsession. I'm just curious. I don't think a brush would fit comfortably in certain areas.

ROFL This is hilarious thread. Since the topic veered into how people showered, I tried to find the old era US military shower instructions on youtube but they are likely age restricted anyway. Along with those how to have proper genital hygiene.

For all out there in drought water restricted areas of the US southwest time for your "Navy Shower": Get wet. Shut off water. Using soap, lather all around with your hands and then rinse off. Dry off w towel

As for materials used, I thought Adi had queried us once before on this topic?
Dial Basics hypoallergenic soap (hands) and then alternate with some form of generic baby shampoo and body wash.

Speaking of 'tunes' and showering.... how about getting "Clean as a whistle" without the Irish Spring and the deodorant chemical additives that are unhealthy for your skin. I did like the old commercial....

Then every crevice would be clean as a whistle!

And what kind of soap do you use? Please be specific. Bar of Soap? Body Wash? And which kind? Dove?
I use a Japanese exfoliating wash towel. It's seriously the best exfoliating material I've ever used. For washing, I use a body wash with salicylic acid to burn off the dead skin cells. Normally it's Neutrogena Grape Fruit Extract Body Wash. But now it's something else with basically the same stuff. I'm too lazy to go and check.

washcloth, face first, body second, neither regions last. change out washcloth as often as required.

once or twice a month, a more aggressive brush/loofa exfoliate experience

soap - cheap bars leave unwanted residue. switched to liquid body wash. usually what's on sale that smells good, don't trust every brand for random skin dryness/breakout effects. Axe bodywash when I have a hot date, because, yes, it worked for me.

Water in a washing machine and certainly not the air in a dryer is not hot enough to kill all or even most fecal bacteria. That is simple biological fact and was also in the link I posted earlier. So you washcloths are much more fecal bacteria laden than our hands (which surfactants clean without heat).
