Read the posts above this one and you will see why.

I am simply responding in kind.

But, at least for me, sweat isn't really something that I have to scrub off. As long as you have a decent soap and running water the sweat will wash right off. Even to get makeup off my face I don't have to scrub, the soap does all the work for me. I just throw some water on my face, rub in my face wash, and splash some more water on my face till all the soap is off.
Yep. Even when I was an athlete and literally drenched from head to toe in sweat on a daily basis, soap and hands always did the job for me.

Yeah, start thinking about it. You grab or looflah, cloth or sponge, soap it up and wash your butt crack. Now what? Just where do you think whatever is on there goes? You bet, right down your legs and onto your feet.

Now tell everyone that that is any different than using your hands and then washing them too or are you are only one in the world that really grows roses back there?
I use a separate washcloth. Not hard to figure out. And uh...I don't grow roses back there, which is why I don't wash with my hands.

Aren't most people's butts dirty? If that disturbs you then you don't have much to worry about. Appreciate your concern though.

I use a loofah sponge and various scented body washes...I also use an exfoliating body wash from victoria's secret, from time to time.

Do I use my hands during my period? Well yes. I mean, I have to insert a tampon so yes, I do also clean up in the shower using my hands. Even when I have my period. I don't have HIV or any other diseases so I'm ok with that.

Seriously, it's your own body we are talking about. We are not talking about some strangers body. How is touching your own body nasty.

I see you have a very elaborate technique for washing yourself...

Have you ever had children? Didn't your parents have children? What, you think they got dressed up in hazmat suits to clean your behind? I'm sure as with all children all over this planet, the wee ones pooped their pants. Do most parents start looking for rubber gloves, trash bags and disinfectant?

I mean really, unless you're eating yellow cake and your hiney is radioactive...

To each their own though, I was simply responding the original post on this thread that included the butt crack comment.

If you don't wash your rear end with your hands, just how do you handle the rag, cloth, looflah or sponge you do use? No matter what you do, unless you jump in with rubber gloves on, your hands are in it, guaranteed. Also guaranteed is that whatever you are washing off is running down your legs and over your toes.

I'm not saying that using something other than hands is bad or unreasonable. I am saying that it is unreasonable to think you aren't touching, in one manner or another, whatever you think you are avoiding by not using your hands.

Lets just be honest about what we're talking about. We all came from the same place and will all end up there sooner or later. In between (no pun intended) we're getting clean somehow, its just that some of us want to pretend that cleaning your rear end is something so gross it means disassociating ourselves from it.

I sure hope separate washing machines are used for the laundry. Wouldn't want a face towel getting in with the crack thingy.

So dirty that the thought of touching it in the shower is "nasty" ? No... or least I would hope that isn't true. I know I like to keep myself clean, but I guess you just never know with some people.

I use fresh washcloths for each shower.

I just don't think your hand would work as well in that area. I don't even think a puffy loofah would be great for that, but I've never tried it.
