Women are treated patronizingly for all sorts of reasons. Even by other women. Some women develop a haughty demeanor to display when they feel they've been slighted, underestimated, or otherwise treated inappropriately. I think it would be helpful to have a network of women who could advise each other on such matters. Being treated that way can be a hindrance to a career.

I think anyone can be adorable at any height.

I guess shorter women are thought to be more adorable because they give off a defenseless and innocent vibe. A lot of guys like short women. It's a compliment.

Don't think so much into it. I used to wish I was short but I am happy with my slightly above average height.

Because being called anything else besides adorable goes over their heads? Jk couldn't help myself.

Take it for what it is. It's just a compliment. If you're really uncomfortable with it say something rude then people can call you what rhymes with witch.

I would like to be 5'5...that would be tall enough to reach the top shelves in my cabinets and not have to climb the shelves at the grocery store. The seatbelt in my car would also fit a lot more comfortably as well, and I'm not even that short!

Being "vertically challenged", as my husband puts it, is a pain in the rear sometimes.

Would you rather they call you Midge?

Not all of them have the sense of poetry to call you a pocket Venus.

Awww I would totally help you reach your top cabinet and shelves in the grocery stores. Hahahah I'm sorry. I had to do it.

My mother is only 5'3 and I have to reach stuff for her all the time. I'm 5'7 not TALL tall but on the taller side for a female anyway. Hahaha.

I had a friend named Megan that used to live in NYC. She was really short. She was adorable!
