The teardrop tat can have a number of meanings. Not just that the wearer has taken a life. They can also signify the number of years spent in prison, or can memorialize a lost loved one.

I vote yes on this one. I mean, I surely wouldn't want him for my boyfriend or anything, but let's be honest, being a criminal leaves you few ways to make money legitimately. Particularly family supporting wages, and many people continue their criminal lives because there are no other options. Hopefully this gives him a fresh start to make enough money to feed his family. Which could be the push that keeps him from committing more crimes.*

*It is hard enough for black men to get jobs anyway, white felons get hired more than regular black men. And black criminals have an even harder road. Two articles to peruse:
White felons get hired more: Study: Black man and white felon – same chances for hire – Anderson Cooper 360 - CNN.com Blogs
Employment gap for black men lingers well into adulthood: Why Young, Black Men Can’t Work - COLORLINES
So right about Ice. I almost mentioned his acting career and his work with Body Count. He's talented.

I hope this guy does very well for himself. People always complain about criminals not wanting to work for an honest wage. Modeling is an honest wage.

Well, he truly is hot and has a very unique look Maybe he'll turn his life around, maybe not. The modeling agency should get him counseling along with the contract!

There are well known actors and actresses with multiple arrests, that have maimed and even killed people. The fashion and entertainment industry for the most party don't give a flying fig about a person's criminal past until it affects their profit in a significant way. If it turns his life around, good for him, good for future victims, good for the court system with 1 less person to handle.

This guy will never change, especially with an enabling mother who is proclaiming that he is being "railroaded."

He has been brought up being taught that he holds no responsibility for his actions.
