I'm not a fan of bald eagle style (full on blade shaving) it makes you look like a pre-teen.

Best way is to use a an electric.

people who shave dont do it for the other person. They do it for themselves. Ive never heard of anyone saying they shave or want to shave in order to make themselves look like a 12 year old just as ive never heard of any 12 year olds wanting to dye their hair gray to look more like an adult.

Carefully, if you're gonna use a blade, especially on the walnuts. I suggest, trimming it down with a scissor or buzzer; makes it easier on the razor.

Personally, I like using one of those personal trimmer thingamajigs

I will say that the "guys" get used to it if you do it on a regular basis. I use Mach 3 in the shower everyday and it takes me less that a minute. Yes, the first time or two, I nicked the sack but once I went over them daily and it became a regular thing, they have been fine. I think it is like my face, it gets used to my electric razor as well as I shave at least once a day. The triangle area, I keep trimmed.
