Has anyone ever tried marketing a set in which you get bra straps, select cup sizes to fit each breast, then interlock the straps to the cups? I know most women's breast are different sizes but bra cups are each the same size leaving the woman to decide between comfort or support for one while trying to put the biscuit dough back in the can type cup fit.

No.
Personally I would rather have symmetry of identical cup size than crookedness.

And I have never had to "decide between comfort or support for one while trying to put the biscuit dough back in the can type cup fit." Have you had this problem?

I know that most women's breasts aren't the same size, but just going from my own experience, I can't imagine that they're that different (outside of a mastectomy situation.)

no-

for one thing, the size difference isn't that great.

and people aren't symmetrical anyway. There are slight variations in sides.

sounds like just another ploy to play on women's insecurities.

And that is a function of buying the wrong size., not asymmetry

I have a friend who has nearly a cup difference between her two breasts, she just fits the bigger one. I have about 1/2 cup difference between the two, but it likely isn't particularly noticeable as mine are "larger" anyway.

It is easy to solve the problem of size difference: fit the larger one, and get padding for the smaller one. Mix and match cups doesn't make a lot of sense, and would impact construction and support significantly for people with larger breasts.
