Default Fashion for Girls

What do eight year old girls like?

I like Hannah Montana, but can't see a kid dressing like her every day...

What styles are popular? What about shoes? Do socks come in colors other than white? What about those outfits that look like a dress but have pants under them? What about skorts?

You might check out Old Navy as they seem to have clothes that kids like. Stylish, but still practical and affordable.

Thanks, funny that I went there earlier today. I didn't understand - lots of the pants and tops were bright yellows and oranges and greens. They looked like summer clothes so I asked, and the clerk said winter clothes.

I've bought girl clothes at Old Navy, Limited Too, Belk's, Macy's, Target, and LL Bean.

I'm just uncomfortable relying on the judgment of an 8 yo, or worse, the 16 - 20 yo clerk
