I spent $400 on a gorgeous but warm winter coat. I love that coat. I have worn it for 10 years and it still looks like new.

On a single item? I believe 200$. I refuse to spend more than that, and it was for something I really, really wanted. Purchases like this are far and few in between. They rarely happen.

This. And that is like one expensive piece every 5-10 years. Probably $150 max (not 200.)

$700 on suit. Spent $100 on shoes last week $100 on two shirts, $100 on two jeans and $130 on trousers.

I spent more than that but it was just tiny things. I don't really care because I have the budget.

The only time I remember spending over $100.00 on an item of clothing, it was a suit. Apart from that the most expensive item of clothing I buy are jeans at about $50 each, give or take. I'm fairly cheap when it comes to clothes.

Most expensive pair of sneakers/tennis shoes is a pair of New Balance 990 V3s. The MADE IN USA print and tags made them worth the $149.99 + tax price. These are the most comfortable and highest quality pair of sneakers/tennis/running shoes I have ever owned. For a gag, go to Wal-Mart or somewhere else like Payless and compare your new shoes to what is sitting on the shelf. Heck, even go to Foot Locker and make cracks on the Made In China $109.99 Nike Airs. You can see and feel the difference when you touch them and look at them. Like going to test drive a Chevette and leaving in a ZO6 Corvette.......

Seriously!!
