San Francisco tech worker: beard, glasses, printed t-shirt or button up un-tucked underneath a hooded sweatshirt, slim tan corduroys, Asics Onitsuka Tiger sneakers, ipod, bookbag.
If cities were people, how would they dress/what would they look like.? Here are my ideas:
Washington D.C. 35 year old white guy wearing an expensive, but very conservative and boring suit, carrying the Wall St. Journal with him everywhere. Has a bag of cocaine hidden in his inside pocket for later.

Boston 40 something year old white man, pin-striped suit, used to be the guy from Washington D.C. (see above) My Description: 20 something grad student, polo shirt, khakis, die-hard Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan; takes the "T;" thinks anything outside of the I-95/Rte. 128 loop is "far" from Boston unless vacationing in the White Mountains in NH, Old Orchard Beach in Maine, or visiting any relatives (if a Native New Englander).
Lol. I laughed. I also loved that Seattle was racially ambiguous (or not mentioned) since the other ones seemed to have a set racial stereotype and look along with it.
Not with that outfit. That is a hipster and the ones in SF are mostly white. (Other places in the bay have more diverse hipsters). The Asian female uniform is either more fashion forward or more preppy in SF.
