If cities were people, how would they dress/what would they look like.? Here are my ideas:

New York 20 something male or female, wearing all black, but designer, like Prada, dark sunglasses, makes eye contact with no one

Chicago a middle aged white guy with a protruding gut, wearing a shirt that doesn't fit well and a cheap tie with a mustard stain

Washington D.C. 35 year old white guy wearing an expensive, but very conservative and boring suit, carrying the Wall St. Journal with him everywhere. Has a bag of cocaine hidden in his inside pocket for later.

San Francisco 20 something year old white girl with clothes bought from a thrift store and flip flops. Smells like pine.

Atlanta 20 or 30 something year old black guy, well groomed, with expensive polo shirt, well ironed but untucked, expensive but slightly baggy jeans, white nike air-force one tennis shoes, expensive watch

Miami middle aged Cuban woman with tight shirt and pants, high heels, lots of jewelry and make-up. lots of cheap perfume. flashy, but still looks good for her age.

Memphis black male teen, cornrolls, nba jersey, baggy inexpensive jeans, expensive air jordan's, one gold tooth, angry look on his face

San Diego young white blond, skimpy shirt, skimpy shorts, flip flops, oblivious look on her face

San Jose 30 year old Indian guy, wears a t-shirt everyday, old jeans, L.A. Gear tennis shoes, drives a toyota, loves computer games, has over a million $ in the bank.

Denver guy in his late twenties, plaid shirt, outdated jeans, timberland boots (perfect match for Seattle...see below)

Seattle girl in her late twenties, hair tied pack, black rimmed glasses, pretty but plain-looking, breath smells of cappuccino

Detroit middle aged black man, yellow suit, alligator or snake skin shoes, pimp hat, looks a lot like Steve Harvey

Boston 40 something year old white man, pin-striped suit, used to be the guy from Washington D.C. (see above)

Los Angeles 20 something year old mexican guy, white wife-beater t-shirt, baggy jeans, old nikes

Dallas middle aged white woman, big hair, lots of gold jewelry and expensive perfume. Envies the girl from San Diego (see above)

Ft. Worth Dallas' daughter. Not nearly as pretty as her mother in her prime and doesn't care to be, shops at J.C. Penny's. Sorta tough.

Houston old conservative white man, smells like crude oil, cowboy hat, cowboy boots, jeans...belt buckle with initials GWB. lol

Austin Houston's son. Grew up rich, but hates wealthy people. Ultra liberal. Wears his dad's cowboy boots with expensive designer shirts and jeans. Wants to marry San Francisco.

LOL... those are pretty funny, and San Jose is definitely accurate! San Francisco is close, but we'd be wearing clogs & smelling of Nag Champa or weed.

Clearly you've never been to Long Island. Or downtown/Lower Manhattan. Or Staten island... Or the Bronx... Or Brooklyn... or Queens.

I take offense at this. We're absolutely nothing like this. Mustard stain? Where does that even come from? When I have my suits tailored for the following season I am explicitly reminded never to eat in them.

Yeah, that's a little ridiculous.

Okay, Palm Springs - big baggy Hawaiian shirt with baggy non-matching shorts, knee-high white socks with sandals and a floppy old man hat and those glasses you get from the eye doctor after you've had a glaucoma test. Usually accessorized with a cane or walker.

Medina, Ohio: a holiday sweatshirt with some sort of festive applique, and a pair of stretchpants, complete with the elusive scent of dryer sheet.

Seattle: don't forget the Birkenstocks worn with thick wool socks.

Berkeley CA: 40ish woman, teva sandals or birkenstocks or those vibram toe shoes, vaguely ethnic tunic and leggings with a matching handbag, long necklace with a pendant that enhances your aura, drives a Subaru wagon or a Prius.
