Reading the thread about prep time for dates got me thinking about this. Generally, it takes me 15 minutes to get ready in the morning. I don't like getting up, so I push it as much as I possibly can. Maybe too much. I don't usually do my hair unless something special is going on, but just run a comb through it. Makeup takes like five minutes then other things such as brushing teeth, putting in contacts, jewelry, etc. I think I may start to put a little more effort in, particularly with my hair.
How long does it take for you to get ready in the morning? Break it down into specifics if you want (x minutes for makeup, x minutes for hair, etc)
I go to bathroom, wash my face.10mins.
Get dress.10 mins.
Do my hair.10-15mins.
Do my make-up.10mins.
Make breakfast and eat.20mins.
Brush my teeth and do my lips.5mins.
But I do get up about two and a half hours before I have to be at work (and my commute takes about two minutes), because I like the time to read, do my morning routine, etc. I hate being rushed.

There is a very strong correlation between time one rises in relation to start time at work and financial security. Just fyi.
I tend to use 1.5-2 hours in the morning but I am not spending all that time getting ready. I like to watch the news and eat breakfast in a leisurely manner. So showering, make up, clothes, only take half an hour at the most.
An hour or so (maybe a little more) - I'm a morning shower person so shower, breakfast, figure out what to wear, makeup, hair, brush teeth, gather what's needed for work - I'm out the door.
Taking into account my arthritis, if I don't have my clothing picked out the night before it could be a two hour long ordeal with the breaks in between for simply twittering my fingers and trying to remember what I wanted to do next. from rise to leaving, generally 90 minutes. This is mostly because I like to take my time wandering from room to room, watch the news search for all the items I thought I put in one purse only to find out I put them elsewhere.
But the stuff I actually do to get ready in the mornings that count.
showering and mouth care, 20 minutes
after shower skin care, 2 mins
Hair mousse, coconut oil and finger comb, 2 minutes
Makeup 5 minutes
putting on clothing if picked out 10 minutes, if not picked out, I must have planned for a late day arrival.
earrings last minute 3 -10 minutes
^could all go out the window if I turn to face the clock and realize I have less than 30 minutes to be out the door, but I couldn't ever drop below 20 minutes no matter if the house was burning down. I would just have to phone ahead that I will be arriving late and or tell the fire department to hose around me while I dress.
Seriously, I could be out of the house in 35 minutes as long as I have everything laid out the night before.
I need about 50 -60 minutes to get ready in the morning. My routine is this:
15-20 minutes: get out of bed, turn on TV for the local news, make my bed and feed the cat by getting fresh water, more dry food and placing some canned food in his dish, then I make my morning shake which is almond milk with fresh banana and strawberries or whatever berries are on sale, in season and take my vitamins with it, then I wash my cat's dish and the glass the shake was in.
20-25 minutes: use bathroom, take shower, put on sunscreen, brush teeth, shave, blow dry and spray hair.
15 minutes: pull cover off birdcage, change paper from the cage bottom, get new water, seed and fruit or veggie for my canary, spray on a little cologne, dress, put my lunch in my backpack, make sure I have all my keys, turn off TV and any lights that are on, pat my cat on his head and say goodbye, then out the door.
