Philosophy Pure Grace.

It smells like soap and water.. very clean and crisp and nonfussy.

I switch between Annick Goutal Eau de Sud, Fresh Cannibas Santal, and Jo Malone Orange Blossom depending on mood. I unfortunatley have expensive taste. And to the OP, for me, all your scents are too old lady...and Im 45, but if they work for you thats all that matters

OK just will have to take the risk of someone smelling me and thinking, she smells like an old lady.

None. I absolutely cannot stand when someone wears perfume. All the women I know who wear it reek of it - it makes movie theaters unbearable, elevators unpleasant, and god forbid one of them hugs you....I've had to shower and wash my hair and clothing multiple times to get the stink of perfume out of them just from that one contact. Please do the rest of us a favor and skip it.

I'll never stop wearing my perfumes. I don't bathe in it, but I do wear it everyday and I don't plan on stopping. Sorry but not sorry.

I'm not getting the old lady connection to perfume? Does it have a specific smell?

Sometimes people associate very powdery or floral perfumes, or perfumes with lots of aldehydes with an "old lady" smell. I tend to think of what perfumes my grandmother wore when I think of an old lady scent. It's one of the reasons I don't do rose scents too well. It has to be a complex, modern rose for me to wear, otherwise it smells a bit too old fashioned and mature for me.
