Right now I'm using Estee Lauder Pleasures, Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise, Angel and 5th Avenue.

I'm thinking about getting Estee Lauder Beautiful, or is that too 80s? I also love Estee Lauder Private Collection and Clinique Elixir. Do I have old lady taste lol? Don't worry, I don't like Chanel No. 5.

At the moment I am switching between:
Marc Jacobs Honey: every day freshness
Chloe's namesake for if I am in a sophisticated mood or an evening date
Pink Sugar: if I am feeling playful, but I might be too old for this one. But I love citrus and fruity scents, as long as they don't end too sweet on me.

My ideal scent would probably be something like a grapefruit, vanilla, pink pepper, jasmine combo. Maybe cucumber and something herbaceous aded too. So I guess I'll need to blend my own.

I can't do musks or powders. They smell horrible on me. Sandalwood too.

I don't wear perfume.

As someone who is actually allergic to sandalwood, there are few pet peeves of mine more than those who assault others with too much perfume. If I can smell you from 5ft away, its too much.

The chemicals in many commercial perfumes provoke an extreme allergic reaction in me. Some give me migraines. If I want a fragrance, I'll mix one myself from essential oils. If you have an allergy even to some of those, you can pick and choose.

Even so, I think our world is getting over-fragranced. It can be challenging to do grocery shopping in some stores, due to the aisles of housecleaning supplies off-gassing chemical fumes, the makeup aisles with a bit of the same problem, and all the fragranced lotions and soaps. It became a marketing trend 10 or 15 years ago to add fragrance to products. That's fine for some people, but it's contributing to a growing health problem of multiple chemical sensitivity in the population.

OP, on rare occasion I'll wear Lancome's "Miracle". The only commercial fragrance I use.

I mainly wear niche perfumes vs. Mainstream scents. I don't have a signature scent because I like to wear a different perfume everyday. Today I'm wearing Heeley's Sel Marin.

I'm a perfume maniac!

I love fragrance and have tons of perfumes. I generally love floral orientals, and fragrances with white flower notes.

Today I'm wearing Magnolia Nobile by Acqua di Parma.

I usually wear a different one everyday.

I like musk. I use fragrance oils to make my own. Always trying new scents, mostly stick with baby powder and Sandalwood.

My favorite department store perfume is Origins Ginger Essence.

Fragrance is such a personal taste. Some "old lady" scents can still be very nice. And if YOU like them that's really all that matters. I have and love Chanel No. 5, which is somewhat of a mature scent, but I have to be in the right mood to wear it.

On the other hand, others swear by Mitsouko, another mature scent....but it's a little too mature for my taste.

Right now it's Acqua di Gioia.

Hugo Boss Woman is another favorite of mine, but it's getting harder and harder to find.
