Does this top look too sheer to wear without a camisole? To me, it looks ok with the white bra, but then in the pic taken with the black bra, it's obviously way too sheer. It's like it looks ok in the mirror, but then if someone is looking at me, they'll see straight through it?

Tops like that always need a camisole or tank top underneath. If it already looks sheer in the house, then outside in the sun or in the different lighting in different places, it can look much more sheer. I've quit buying tops in that fabric because it's too hot here to wear multiple layers.

Also, if I could ask your opinions on this top: I think it's weird, Ive had it a long time, but never wear it, why is it so long in the back? What would be the purpose of that? Is it out of style, or what? How sheer is too sheer?-20140822_114412.jpeg

I don't share my bra or panties with anyone other them the man in my life .. I wouldn't wear something that sheer for the whole world to see. And I know he appreciates that.

Too sheer for me personally with or without something between the shirt and the bra.
I don't ever wear snug clothing either, I like some room to move comfortably.

Definitely too sheer for you to wear.

IMO, there is nothing wrong with wearing a sheer top if 1) the person has a dynamite midsection/back (very lean with no rolls whatsoever, and 2) they wear a pretty bralette underneath...not a regular bra.

You will certainly open yourself up to ridicule if you wear that....just don't.

I think you need something more underneath. I agree with everyone else.

Either way looks horrible. Of course it needs a camisole.

OK, thanks guys. It just looks so non-sheer in the mirror like I said, but the more I look at all the pics, I see that it is very, very sheer. I have plenty of black tanks on hand.

I'm still so grateful to those of you who encouraged me to wear more skirts and less jeans.

So what about the other top I posted a pic of? What's up with it being long in the back?
