Default Appear wealthy

How do I appear rich even if I'm just a regular, blue collar girl?

Well, I'd say this is a very vain question, but then I've been guilty of doing similar things.

What I would advise you to do is find a style you like, then copy that, only find things from cheaper stores that look very similar to what you like. As much as I love Armani and Dolce and Gabanna, as a broke guy, I can't afford it. I can look through GQ, find clothing I like, and shop at Banana Republic and Macy's instead, finding clothes that look similar to what I liked in the magazine.

If you're interested in looking sexy and classy, there's always an inexpensive way to do that. Buying out of your price range and putting yourself in debt just to look like something you aren't is incredibly stupid, though.

Buy well made and classic clothing. Instead of buying lots of clothing from places such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's, etc., buy classic pieces that you can mix and match. Buy them from better stores. Well made clothing will last longer and is more of an investment. If you have high quality thrift shops in your area and a uppercrust and wealthy crowd in your town, these are good places to by the "hand me downs" of the wealthy. Some of them wear a dress once or twice and take it to a resale shop. Same for accessories; instead of having lots of cheap costume jewelry and many handbags, start saving to buy limited, high quality pieces. Wear tasteful makeup and get a good haircut/color. Some classic clothing items to invest in: a classic white oxford style shirt, a pair of good fitted jeans, a black belt, a navy, brown or red blazer, a black cocktail dress, a good fitting pair of khakis, 1 pair of black dress slacks, a few solid colored cotton or knit pullover shirts (long sleeved or short sleeved) and a nice summery dress that can be worn to events such as bridal showers, Easter dinner, brunches, etc. If you live in a cooler climate, buy a coat with a removable liner so that you can wear it in three seasons, as well as a more casual short wool jacket or leather jacket to wear with jeans. Stores such as Macy's and Bloomingdale's have great sales and if you have a Nordstrom Rack in F&M in your town, they're great places to get bargains.

All black a great bag and big black sunglasses. You can go on line and find "replica" jelwery of your favorite designer or a designer bag. But the last post was correct if your going to buy a "replica" chanel or whatever designer you choose buy one of the classics not one of the trendy here today gone tomorrow bags. Go classic all the way!!! Pearls rather than diamonds every little hoodrat has diamonds these days go for the pearls they're more classy. If you go for the diamonds do no more than a 2.5 carat thats what is appropiate without being too gaudy. And some of the best designers are starting to make cheaper lines!!! For instance roberto cavalli (my personal favorite) is doing a line for h&m, you also have the armani xchange (love it) & I forgot who it was but i know some big designer was going to do something with target i wanna say stella mcartney but i dont think its her. Anyways there are lots of options just dont buy something thats obviously fake like juicy sweats that have a B for a zipper instead of a j. Its ok to spend $200 on shoes as long as you can wear them more than one season. And please do yourself a favor and stay away from trends. Invest that money into something you'll get more out of. And just so you know sometimes the people that actually have the money to splurge go this route. Wouldnt you buy a $250 bag if it looked exactly like your $7500 bag????!!!!! Message me and i can give you some GREAT sites to visit. One more thing never use the word fake in a search for a designer bag or anything else use the word replica. It makes a difference. Good luck!!!!

If you want to look "rich" get a grill! But if you want to look sophisticated and pulled-together, spend on your accessories. Buy classically styled, high quality coat, shoes, purse, wallet and watch because these will last you for years and not go out of style. Invest the bulk of your "clothes" money in tailored, well-fitted, classic basics- trousers, skirts, dresses and blouses. NEVER waste money on trendy shapes/colors. Buy the fun one-season pieces at places like Target, Marshalls, Forever 21, TJ MAXX, etc. Odds are that you'll wear these pieces for less than a full season and it's less guilt-inducing to get rid of clothes that cost $20 as opposed to $120.

Ermm i fail to see how marrying any ole 95 yr old can make you rich?

Marrying a "RICH" one however could possibly make you rich, you just have to make sure he/she includes you on their will, no?
