I think many of us have a mental picture of ourselves from when we were younger and still think we look the same. I am shocked when I look at myself in the mirror sometimes and can not believe how old I look. I still think of myself as a young man but am not. Maybe this is why people wear their hair or clothes in a style that is more suited for someone 15 years younger.

When you look in the mirror do you look like your mental image of yourself?

Tough call. I look a lot like my father did when he was my age. Though I never considered him cool, stylish or sexy I'm sure that my mother did. Personally, I wish I had a little more hair, but that's about it.

Sometimes I walk by a mirror and do a doube take because I see my mom. She died in her 50's so I never saw her get old. So I don't mind, but it is weird. I have a picture of her from 1970 that look slike me wearing Jackie O sunglasses

I'm not bothered by my reflection. I feel that I haven't changed that much. As long as I keep drinking a lot of water and applying moisturizer, I seem to be holding up well.

Do you think the water really helps, Miu?

I take Primrose and Salmon Oil every day.

Especially in winter, I am aware of a need to keep hydrated. My complexion is also improved with the extra water. I also should watch my sodium intake as I love salty foods so much.

You stop thinking like that! I loved my thirties!!! But I also had a lot of good times in my early forties too.

Just don't do anything stupid like smoke cigarettes or be a party animal. Stay away from soda and caffeine too.
