I'm wearing polo sweatpants right now, most comfortable thing ever made. I don't wear them out of the house, but once I'm through the door again, on go the sweatpants/pajama pants.
Jeans are very common. So are shorts, capri's, slacks, skirts, yoga pants, tights...and even sweatpants. I think most of us don't wear sweatpants out in public though.
Some of us (me) refuse to give up on the fashion we enjoyed as teenagers. I still wear Tripp pants, although if they come with dangling chains or straps I remove them. I am not typical of women my age, though.
Capris are horrible. They are terrible, atrocious, and awful. Did I mention they were nasty looking? They look terrible because they don't flatter ANY woman's body. I'm short (5'2"), so they one time I tried them on, they made me look even shorter. On tall women, capris make them look like amputees. They also make every woman look about 20 pounds heavier than they are. They also don't keep you as cool as shorts, and don't keep you as warm as jeans. I guess I'm not a fan of those. LOL.
I wear mid thigh shorts mostly, tank tops or short sleeved scoop necked tops in bright colors, jeans in the winter, sandals or tennis shoes, long sleeved shirts with my parka when it's cold, and occasionally dresses with tights and high heels in chilly weather.
Sweatpants are less popular than yoga pants these days.
That's great! Some places though you generally don't want to see people in yoga pants, like Wal-Mart, but in Whole Foods it's generally all good. lol
Types of dress really vary between geographic regions, urban/rural, and socioeconomic lines. I was recently in Minneapolis & couldn't help but notice the sheer number of homeless looking hipsters there. Not used to seeing that here in South Florida.
I only wear sweatpants at home on really cold days, no way would I wear them out in public. Yoga pants only for excersise. I wear dress up jeans, black pants and sorry in the summer I do wear capri's. I hate wearing shorts and it is to hot for pants.
