I think their's an error here, this girl was mistakenly considered an African American girl rather than an Indian Girl. She looks more Indian IMO. It's pretty hard to tell what she is if you ask me. You rarely see black girls that look like this. Here in America anyway. Where I live seeing a black girl that looks like this is uncommon. I read it on one site that says that she is African American in an article.

Black and White are the absence of color, and the presence of all colors. People come in a variety of shades. But yes her features look more like someone from the Indian subcontinent or even Arabic. She may have one parent of African ancestry.

This topic reminds of an Indian girl I used to know back in high school where she would get routinely mistaken for being African American. She was also darker than the girl in the picture even though she was 100% Indian.

If she says she's black, she should know.

That look like what? The possibility of her being Indian didn't even occur to me. She looks like a very pretty black girl. There a bunch of women around here that look like that.

I think she could pass for either. Although I agree that the tone on my monitor has more of the warmer brown usually associated with India or southern Asia.

I don't think the subtly in skin tone is something most people are in tune with and they have no reason to be. I'm sure I'm a lot more interested in the subject than most having a slight blueish cast to my own skin and being called everything from "sickly," "vampire" and "what are you anyways?"
