I never got wearing undershirts with t-shirts. Do you have a very cold chest, but very warm arms?

I don't wear undershirts either. Just put on a sweater if I'm cold.

We did this thread a while ago.

I wear crew neck t-shirts under everything except button down dress shirts where I prefer an A-shirt or wife beater instead.

At first it was because of sweat. In cooler months I might not wash my polos every time I wear them, especially if it is just for a short period of time. Now I do it because of sweat AND because I like the way it looks. I LIKE the fact that my crew neck is visible. I'll wear a white crew neck under a larger outwear T-shirt or crew neck Polo T-shirt. I hate V-necks.

I happen to like my T shirts and have ruined some in the past from sweating in them not to mention sweat stains are gross.

My husband wears a tank undershirt even with t-shirts, because the cut is longer on them and we can be absolutely assured that no matter how he bends, sits, or crouches, we will never, ever have to see any "plumber's crack."

Which I'm sure we can all agree, is a far more unfashionable fate than whatever sense of "middle school" an undershirt may convey upon a 47 year old man... lol!

I cannot honestly imagine what sort of a guy is stressing out about his "preppy" dress style to the point of asking this question of the internet people. Wear what you want. Jeez.

Wear whatever you want! A shirt cannot be immature. Behavior can be immature.

He said something along the lines of, "I didnt realize we are still in Middle School". I was really pissed, but kept my mouth shut.

I just dont see how wearing an undershirt is immature if it keeps me comfortable. Do we really have to wear these unbuttoned polos nowadays, exposing chest hair! I mean, I get it, everyone recently is caught up in this "preppy" fashion, but wearing a polo has nothing to do with maturity.

Or am I crazy?
That is completely bizarre.

that's only one species of the whole genus of undershirts. I doubt anyone is referring to that.
