Has anyone been checking up on this at their local Target? Do you like TOMS? Have you bought/Would your buy TOMS' products regardless?

I've heard of them, but I hadn't realized they've done more than shoes. I am more curious about the Company/Organization, and wanted others' opinions on their products. Thanks in advance.

I just noticed TOMS clothing at my local Target today, for the first time. I don't know anything about the brand, but it did catch my eye. I generally really like Target for clothes.

They are greenwashing a bit, and i think the merchandise is overpriced. But many people buy because it gives them warm fuzzies. Around here about 75% of people under 30 have Toms shoes.

It looks like a cool company. TOMS : One for One

From what I saw on Target.com, it didn't look terribly overpriced to me. I bet it will do well around here.

The target collection is cheaper than the real one.

I like toms shoes, I do not like the company though. Most of the shoes they 'give away' are actually sold on local markets in the countries they 'help'. There was some big article about it a few years ago, i'm sure you could find it on google.

But like I said, I like their shoes, and own their shoes. Of course, I have always got them as gifts, I don't think I would spend my own cash on them. They hold up well in daily life, and in the washing machine.

The company definitely seems interesting. But their shoes are just ...ing ugly. It makes me comment any time I see some hipster dude wearing them ("hey, great shoes, man. Do they sell men's clothes where you got them?").

I don't think the shoes are attractive. They continue to be ubiquitous where I am, but to me, they look like colorful Ace bandages on one's feet. The soles are also too insubstantial for my taste.

Pretty much! But the new school flats are actually pretty cute!

Yes, they make a handful of different styles, now. But the classic slip-on that people think of when they think of TOMS, eh, not my style.
