Okay. I tried the Hydrogen Peroxide, no result. I talked to a co worker and she said to soak it in isopropyl alcohol. I bought 1 small bottle of it and put the bag in a 5 gallon bucket then poured the bottle of alcohol into it. I shook it up and swished the purse around so that it was soaked thoroughly. I used a 13 gallon trash can liner as a cover with a bungie cord wrapped around the top to seal it. I set it on the deck for about 30 hours. I pulled it out and dried it, no smell at all. No damage to the bag and it's like new.

Try wiping the purse a couple of times with a damp rag consisting water and vinegar. The vinegar will kill the mold spores. You can also try alcohol but vinegar I think works better. I tried it on a leather jacket that I had in the closet for a while and it worked.
