I'm confused. I always am on this subject. I see celebrities with lips all over that are considered full but I was looking at research that larger lips were seen as attractive yet the women listed as examples all seemed to have what are considered thin lips? Like halle berry. To me it's like if she has full/big lips what do women like me have? I also don't get why most celebrities have thinner lips like I never see a woman with big lips. Like real big lips? Why is this? And what do you consider big/full and why?

Here's the article:

Men are drawn to a woman's lips more than any other facial feature | Daily Mail Online

I do not think big and full are necesaarily the same thing. But there is no universal answer. Depends on the proportions of your face.

Natural full lips can be very attractive; however, the "trout mouth" fad was a joke.

I know I was asking you personally what you thought they were...

Lol that's a joke. I have bigger Lips and everyone always says they're actually prettier than full lips. But there is more care with big lips.

I hate big lips, look so ugly. The best lips are shapely ones, with a nice cupids bow, big puffy lips look like crap. [Mod cut]

I think the article is right, big lips are absolutely attractive on a woman. But, the surrounding features of her face will help determine if the lips (and her) are actually attractive. For example, Jolie and Johannsen both have beautiful lips, but partly because their faces are beautiful. Take their exact same lips and put it on someone like Venus Williams or Melissa McCarthy and no one will ever ever ever ever say "they have beautiful lips".

Jolie - perfect

Lisa Rinna - Too big but for some reason, she pulls it off and still looks good

Scarlett Johansson - beautiful

Octomom - too big

What should also be taken into consideration (hope this doesnt make the thread go south) is race. The BEAUTIFUL Beyonce and Halle Berry have what most would consider perfect lips, but they are small compared to most other black women, but if you put their lips on an Asian woman the world would go crazy and probably deem her the sexiest asian woman in the world.

To me full lips look like beestung dog lips.... Lol. But they really do its very funny when people try to say they're full to me because you can barely see them lol.

But really all those lips resemble dog lips not real regular sized lips.

Yeah and all of those had make up. Those people have very thin lips without lipstick...

I have a thinner upper lip, but as for scale my lips are full. I like my lips and think they match my features well.

My sister has "bigger" lips than i do and bigger facial features. If you put her lips on my face it would look funny. But her lips are the right size for her face.

I can't think of anyone with noticable "big" lips at the moment. Since proportions are critical.

Lisa Rinna's lips look ridiculous and out of proportion with her features in my opinion. Angelina Joilie's lips look best without fillers. It looks strange otherwise.

But i guess if i were to comtrast fullness, with big-ness, it relates to where your lips sit on your face. A proportion of how muxh tgey stick out from the rest of your features.
