Honestly, for my face shape, I'll take oversized frames over granny/Ben Franklin-style glasses. I have pictures from the early 2000s where I'm wearing small, rimless and metal rim glasses, and I'll take the larger, more prominent frame glasses any day.
Large frame glasses are in now. My glasses are now. (not shades but glasses).
And short shorts are in again among guys. Well assuming it is not winter.
Same with legwarmers.

Yeah, windsuits and all that other stuff must have been a regional thing. All I ever saw was 501's and other jeans, nothing much out of the ordinary, really, for casual wear, anyway. And hoodies have, indeed, been around a long time. Hooded tops for women (and unisex hooded tunics and jackets) first came in in the 70's.
