I'm a size 31x36. I buy most of my jeans from Abercrombie. Their super skinny jeans in 32x34 have been some of the best fitting jeans that I've been able to find. I just buy their plain jeans, no rips. I like that they've introduced black into their store, so I just bought a pair of their black skinnies. Guess does not make jeans for tall skinny guys, although I like a lot of their stuff. I also have some 7s and Lucky jeans that fit pretty decent. I can't stand True Religion because their pockets are awful. I buy most of my dress pants from J Crew and Brooks Brothers and do in house alterations as needed (that's why I have a J Crew card for free alterations, lol).

I like modern, skinny jeans. Any suggestions? I'm 6'5/180ish, so finding clothes is always a challenge.

I'm surprised you're able to find 36 length pants in stores. I have to order that length. Store used to carry them, but most in my area have stopped. A few companies such as Ralph Lauren have stopped making them. I'm 6'4" and around 212.I'm between a 34 and 36 waist, and 35" is also next to impossible to find.

Yeah, no store sells 36 length, online or in store. Unless you go to a big and tall section/store, but those jeans are awful. J Crew and Brooks Brothers are really good with alterations for pants and can let the pants down a little. Abercrombie jeans have been my best bet. The 34 lenghts aren't too bad. But I'm almost out of college, and I might getting too old for Abercrombie lol. I'm not sure how that works. I can sometimes find 7s and Lucky that fit me ok. Short pants are supposed to be in right now, but I feel like it doesn't work me. It looks unintentional.

Ugh.

I'll check out Gap. I buy a lot of shirts and sweater from there and Banana. Buckle has a lot of those back pockets like with all the crap on it like True Religion. :/

Levi's 501/505 or the boot cut versions of said. You might not get them in store 31/36 as that's a rare size. Some stores should carry 32/36, though or you can order it online. If 7s fit you though, you definitely don't want to size up. What you'd really want is the 511 which you can't get in 31/36.

Now, if you're a true 31, a 30/36 501 should fit better than a 31/36 anyway. Levi's vanity sizes it's jeans.

Who won't wear Levi's? (As a true 31, yeah, Levi's size 31 do feel too big.) I personally refuse to shop at the Gap, but people around the Internet seem to think Gap denim is underrated. If you want to spend moderately more, G Star.
