It looks like you'll have trouble lifting your arms.

Sometimes if you iron a shirt, it gets a tiny bit larger.

Do you like the shirt so much to want to wear it?

It's not necessarily the fit that is distracting, it's the the pattern. It looks like the stock market on a downward trajectory in the photo, though if you're holding the phone with your right arm, the pattern goes up from the right to the left?

Still not sure about the pattern.

Shirt looks great, even in the shoulders. If you find it is tight in the shoulder cuff however size up a half size and have a tailor take it in in the sides. Lastly, (your phone is covering it) but you see the second button down (which would be next to your pocket), is there any pulling of the fabric around that button? If not the shirt fits, if there is again size up one. I find Italian size 40 shirts fit me well in the waist and even shoulders but sometimes I have to size up to 41 or 42 cause the 40 is a bit too tight in the chest.

It looks a little too small in the shoulders. I see potential trouble with the wearer raising his arms. It's not terribly tight though. Nice look. Maybe go up one size, or get it altered.

Ha ha! OP, iron it yourself. Your mom does not have to do your laundry anymore. But, seriously, iron it

Nah... don't iron it.
Return it for one that is not so snug.

Kind of answered your question, didn't you. Men's clothing generally isn't supposed to be tight. If you're going for the girl's jeans look where people can see a quarter in your pocket, that might be an exception. Given the somewhat normal sized jeans, however...
