No, but I wish I had the body I had in my 20's. I used to get lots of compliments. These days not so much.

I'm happy with how I look honestly, call me vain but I know I look good. I've had women stop me and asks me for tips or for help so that they could look similar to me. I don't look anything like a Victoria Secret model, I'm not particularly thin either. I don't diet. What I do, is work out, eat things in moderation, I don't obsess, but if I notice I've gained I cut back, and I make sure I present myself well and work with what I have.

Hell yeah! It's not something I dwell on for any length of time, but yeah, I'll see someone and think "I wish I had her..."

Yes!!!!! When I see a girl with a great body and a pretty face, I do jealous. I also get sad because I know that could be me if I put more effort in. I am doing my best and I've been really good about eating and pretty good about exercising this year, so I'm hoping I see results that pay off. I want to be a hot girl, but I can't just wish for it, I gotta work for it!

There's a lot of people out here in So.Calif. who spend thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to achieve what they think is the prefect body. Are they happy afterward ?
Since they keep going back for more and more, I'm thinking , no.
I don't know what it will take to make these people come to peace with their physical human shape but it sure seems elusive.
Personally, I try not to be narcissistic and stare at myself in a mirror looking for imperfections but focus instead on the beauty of one's spirit and personality.

A lot of those people didn't have serious deformities in the first place, they were just vain.

I am not narcissistic, and I don't even have a mirror BTW. My condition is pretty obvious without all that. Guess you didn't read my posts properly. Imagine you have a deformity everyone was repulsed by. "Beauty of one's spirit and personality". Yeah, maybe you should work on yours.

Agreed, I also think it has to do with what's going on INSIDE as well. I used to weight train regularly, eat well, etc and was at 12% BF in my 30's. People would tell me I look good all the time, I even got hit on by a couple of celebs (was living in So Cal at the time) but I always felt like there was still something wrong. I even went to a plastic surgeon to inquire about tummy tuck surgery. He took one look at me and basically told me to gtfo.

I was not perfect about eating, drinking etc in my 30's when I hit that goal, but I was consistent with the weight training and cardio. Right now, not so much. I know how to get there, I honestly don't feel like doing it right now. I keep thinking "tomorrow.....tomorrow...." even though I know that isn't the answer

Sometimes my own worst enemy is......me
