Wowzies.

I cannot get past the fact that she is obese.

The article says she is healthy and she hikes. How can that be? When I was 80 pounds overweight I was not healthy nor could I hike very far.

You do realize that one is fact-based (measurable- able to be proved beyond any question) and the other is opinion based (yes the media tries very hard to tell us there is one acceptable portrait of beauty but this is still something that means different things to different people).

So I would say yes to both.

Anyone else ever notice someones "beauty" changes as you get to know them? Friends that I thought were ummm not really fantastic looking are much more so after I know them. Likewise people I though were beautiful but then turned out to be pretty rotten humans appear less beautiful once I've learned more about them. Or is it just me?

Pretty AND obese.

I've noticed that when some people describe unattractive (in their opinion) women, fat and ugly are paired together as if one can't exist without the other. She looks like the type of woman that would be beautiful regardless of her size, but might actually be better looking with some extra weight.

It's probably why some women that aren't really attractive, become starlets. A fit body with an ugly mug is considered attractive by many people. "Ugly mug" meaning, your face is rather manly without a bunch of long hair softening the features.

Disgusting. Women should have a lot more self respect than that. JMO I would not buy any products advertised by such individual be it girl or boy. It shows how they really don't care about themselves, and are only looking to die before their time. It's actually pretty sad.

Wow, that article says that plus size models are usually size 8-16, therein lies the problem, size 8, 10, 12 is NOT plus size, it's normal. No wonder there are so many image problems and eating disorders in young women.

This woman is beautiful but WAY overweight, I'm her height and can't imagine being that size. Her health is in danger and she is the perfect candidate for diabetes among other things. As she ages I'm sure she will gain more if she's encouraged to be that size now and it will be problematic.

I think she is very pretty, but I can't understand how she be that active and that overweight if she is also eating properly, unless she has a physical issue, such as hypothyroidism.
