I personally can't grow that much facial hair. I hold on to whatever little hair I can grow because I look extremely weird without facial hair.

I am talking about this length of stubble being acceptable or maybe a bit less. These are the lengths I prefer to keep my stubble at. I don't particularly like beards as they irritate my skin, but medium-thick stubble fits my face I think.

And what are men's thoughts on women's facial hair? LOL.

That's not stubble. That's a beard.

It totally depends on the guy's face and the overall look.

Stubble is fine. Full grown beard ... I don't like it.

This female says: It depends on the guy, and on how he grows it, grooms it, etc.

Some guys can pull it off, some can't.

The one and only facial hair choice that I don't ever, ever like is the moustache with no beard, especially the 70's Magnum PI look. Ugh. No. Seriously not ever. Some fashion choices of the 70's need to stay in the 70's.

EDIT: Yes. I realize this one persisted well into the 80's. But I can hardly complain about a decade when women wore shoulder pads, now can I?

My fiancee has informed me that she prefers me bearded, as even when I've shaved quite carefully, after a couple of hours my whiskers feel like sandpaper. When they're grown to a quarter of an inch or longer, they feel much softer.

If you braid it like a Viking that's hot.
