It's like trying to make love to a pile of steel wool.

My husband is great looking with a mustache, but he has to shave if he wants even a goodbye kiss.

I hate stubble! Make a decision, either go full-on facial hair, or clean-shaven. Stubble looks like you're too lazy to shave. Experiment. See what suits you. Some kind of moustache? A goatee? See what works for you.

Scruffy all the way, I love the way it feels when I kiss my husband to my face and to my hands. We are a little naughty so the scruff adds a little edge, clean shaven is too innocent looking lol

Disclaimer: I am a beard and stache wearing MAN.

I once dated a woman and as winter rolled around {when I used to start leting my beard grow} I asked her if she would object if I let it grow out, since she didn't know I routinely did.

Her reply?,
wait for it,
Wait for it,:
"If god had intended men's faces to be as smooth as babies' bottoms, he'd have made them that way. Let it grow out."

P.S. Pet Peeve: I HATE the phrase "are you growing a beard?"...It GROWS all the time whether I like it or not. The difference is I LET IT GROW OUT. And 'letting it grow in',well, it doesn't "grow in" it grows OUT.

And, if you use a shampoo/conditioner combo or just the conditioner alone, on your beard, your beard WILL be "very soft". It IS hair after all!

Stubble is what you get when it grows out only a little.
THAT is why it should be grown out quite a bit!

Doesn't matter, look great, regardless.
Now, THERE is a positive attitude!

THAT pic is of a full beard. it is just short, but it certainly is NOT "stubble". Stubble is true "5o'clock shadow".

Since Women AREN"T supposed to have facial hair, only happens after menopause and it is rather gross looking; and they rarely "take care of it" and trim/maintain it properly so it just looks awfull. MEN ARE supposed to have facial hair, ergo it shoud be ther, neat and tidily trimmed and groomed.

Tell him to shampoo/condition it, it WON'T feel like steel wool then, in fact as it grows, it loses its "sharpness" anyway. You MIGHT find you like it that way.

Oh, I agree, so I let it grow out.

Clean shaven!

The latest fad of having a 5 o'clock shadow will die out as soon as the celebs start shaving again.

Love mustaches, as long as there is no food in them

A well-kept, well-trimmed beard is nice. No Santa beards

No goatees

No soul patches

5 o'clock shadow only looks good if it's well-groomed & not full of gray. George Clooney looked like a geezer in those stubble pics
