Is it not ladylike to be carefully dressed, well-mannered, modest, subtly curvy, or even matronly? Does not a lady wear a hat, gloves and little heels on emerging from home?
But flared trousers, boots that rise beyond the ankle, or sunglasses worn atop the head are certainly not
Being ladylike is timeless, no?

Whilst fashions do change throughout the ages, and of course we all have our own opinions of what is fashionable for each of us to adorn ourselves in, there is certainly not one way only to dress as a lady.
Perhaps we can all agree a well dressed lady is a sight to behold, what matters far more than any sartorial choices is that a lady, first and foremost, must be of a character that makes those around her feel at ease, with her calm and warm demeanor, and ability to conduct intelligent conversation on a variety of subjects.
Off I go to to elegantly glide up my grand staircase with several leather bound novels atop my cranium to promote good posture.

Well then by this criteria I am certainly not ladylike.

-sits with her legs crossed or together when she is wearing a dress.
-Don't burp at the table (course this goes for either sex)
-Don't curse like a sailor
-Smooth your dress over your bum before you sit, don't just flop down.
-don't flaunt your boobs in hoochie clothes
-don't conduct yourself like an idiot, be poised and to the point
-don't be crude
I'm a lady and sometimes I burp the alphabet. (Not really. I can only burp up to about G-H then I run out of steam.)
I think it's much, MUCH more important to be authentic than to try to live up to some unrealistic expectation of what society deems "ladylike." What you've described as "ladylike," OP, sounds contrived and pretentious to me and I would do all I could to avoid being those things.
