I rarely watch the Oscars, but love to see pictures of everyone's gowns the day after the show. My favorites this year were the Reese Witherspoon and Cate Blanshett gowns. Also, Rosamund Pike looked amazing in that gorgeous red dress.

What dresses did you like the best at the Oscars 2015?

My wife went to school for fashion design and I have a natural eye for what works and honestly we were not wowed by any of the dresses. They all seem to be trying to hard with the extra festooned bits and pieces. Simple is elegance. Even Nicole Kidmann, Charlise Theron, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Anderson disappointed. We thought the colours were drab and J Lo needs to put those boobs away. It was funny to see her wedged into her seat with all that fluff.

Reese did look good.

not seen any yet but hate too much fuss, big slashed fronts or sides and ruffles.. also hate cutaway bare bits as they look trashy and as you say they try too hard to stand out sometimes for all the wrong reasons..

Didn't really like anyone's dress, but loved the way Margot Robbie looked. Drop dead gorgeous face and old Hollywood style. Loved the red lips against the black. Classic. I usually prefer brunettes over blondes, but with Margot, I can stare at her all day.

I liked Margot Robbie, Rosamund Pike, Jennifer Hudson in yellow, and Jennifer Aniston's gown.

I really don't like the sleeveless look, where the neckline rises like a "hump"...I prefer a v or sweetheart neckline.....I guess the "hump" look must be "in" this season!

Unfortunately, there were no memorable looks last night. Every year I watch, hoping that there will be at least one gown that will become sort of iconic. We remember Halle Barry's floral gown when she won, Nicole Kidman's chartreuse gown (back when she was still with Tom), Gwyneth's simple spaghetti strap ballerina pink gown, Angelina's black gown with the leg thrust, even Jennifer Lawrence's voluminous gown that caused her to trip ... but nothing from last night is going to stand out and be memorable years from now, IMO

I liked most of the gowns. I did not like Reese's, and thought the downturn on the upper band accentuated her narrow shoulders.

Nothing too exciting for any of them, I don't watch television but I did just do a search and look at the gowns.
