Wow, great responses so far. I don't know what FIJA is - will look it up. I'm definitely the inquisitive type, very curious regarding current events and the world. And yes, as someone posted its a huge responsibility to be a juror. I'd like to think that I'm fair and impartial but of course I know I have some biases.
On the summons it said prepare to spend one week on the jury. So perhaps they've already decided?

No, they summon a LARGE pool of potential jurors, and they choose from the pool once you all get there on your designated day. They tell you to prepare to spend a week so you don't have to make last-minute arrangements for work, child care etc.
