rich = lasts very very long time
pretty/handsome = well, when you hit certain age, you will become ugly...

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder whereas $$$ is in everyone's eyes

Many wealthy people reflect back on what they consider to be the best times of their lives, when they were poor and barley getting by. The sensation of living is greater. The basic needs in life fulfilled, when very poor, may be the most satisfying. Folks become wealthy and it just isn't the same. They can't keep it together. What more do you need than a the company of a few loved ones a good meal, and a roof over your head? So, if you are good looking and poor, maybe that is even better.

Beauty bought via comestic surgery can never compare to natural beauty though. All celebrities I see who try to modify their appearance via cosmetic surgery end up looking weird, plastic and off-putting - this is especially true when they get to a certain age and try desperately to regain their long-gone youthful appearance. I'm thinking of the late Joan Rivers, but even younger people like Kim Kardashian look freaky due to cosmetic surgery. John Travolta is a creep as well.

I'd rather just age naturally. With a good diet and exercise you can look beautiful well into your 60s - maybe your 70s as well, but all the 70somethings I know just look haggard and tired.
