Do you like the style of the waterfall sweater ? I have a few and hardly ever wear. It seems like this style has been around awhile, I still see it in stores and the shopping shows, however, when this style goes out - it will be out. I see it as more a trendy style and not timeless.

What are your thoughts ?

I like them. They add some visual interest to the front without being too ruffly (in most cases). I just can't wear the ones that are too long, because I'm short and it throws off my proportions.

They don't flatter me but they look cute on the right body type.

I've finally realized that I don't like clothing that that hangs and drapes off my body. It took me many years to realize this. I would buy these types of tops/sweaters/cardigans and then never wear them. Now I just don't buy them.

I actually don't like how they look on other people either - but that's just me.

LOL ... I'm the exact opposite. I don't like clothing that doesn't hang and drape off my body.

I'm of an age that I automatically think of Bea Arthur in Maude when I see them. Consequently, I nixed them all out of my wardrobe.

I'm tall and have broad enough shoulders to pull this look off - I think it can look strange on short people or people who have narrow shoulders - makes them look very round and "pear shaped." But I don't like this style in a heavy fabric. Light and flowy. And not down to my knees!

^^^^^I like the light and flowy fabric, too.

I have to try them on. Some look good on me and some don't. I live in Florida, so those I do have don't get worn too often.
