Caldor
Woolworth
T.S.S. (Times Square Stores)
I'm in my 30's and I was lucky enough to have these stores around in my generation.

For those people in Ohio, MI, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas and Florida--

I really miss Jacobsons Stores. I am somewhat partial to them as I worked there for 17 years until it went belly up after 135ish years in 2002.

There is still one store in Florida, although no tie-in to the originals.

I loved hitting the record store bins, particularly the cutout record bins in these discount stores:

Arlans
Woolworths
Woolco
Gibsons

Then there are the record stores themselves:

Tower Records
Peaches
Sound Warehouse

And a couple drug stores:

Rexall
Wall Drug

Yup. They used to have a popcorn vending machine in the foyer.
