I'd recommend Tide whitening/brightening pods rather than bleach. I only use bleach tablet (vs liquid) for things like towels and cotton sheets. Regular bleach might be rather harsh on your t-shirts.
Yes. That's why I specified "all fabric bleach". It's much gentler on fabric than chlorine bleach.
T-shirts wear out. After being worn a lot, white tees rarely look good at the end of the summer. Wash in cold water, use a good detergent, and buy a few of them if you like to wear them often.
What's the best way to preserve the quality of white v neck shirts from American Apparel? As in, how do you prevent them from shrinking or looking old?
Some people say hand washing with cold water is the best method but then what about the trouble of ironing the shirts. So in that case, if I take the shirts to the dry cleaners, what can I tell them to do to prevent the shirts from shrinking or looking old?
You stick it in an airtight bag in the closet and don't wear it.
That is about the only way to preserve a shirt from becoming old and worn out.
It must be the same one I knew who ironed her sheets.
