Some parenting decisions can be reversed; others are a bit more permanent. That’s the case for one father from Texas who recently got an enormous tattoo of his baby son’s face — on his own face.
Christien Sechrist, a 20-year-old dad from Deer Park, celebrated the birth of his son Perseus Allen Mitchell by inking a giant black-and-white image of the boy’s face on his left cheek. Sechrist captioned the photo, posted last July, “Thanks Cody Gibbs for doing awesome work on me. Looks just like my son.” One of the reasons it’s gaining coverage now is because Reddit posted it a day ago.
Now that tattoos in and of themselves are meaningless as signs of being different, people will begin defacing their bodies with massive obvious tattoos.
Okay, without reading the article, I am using my mystical swami powers to make some observations about this guy:
1. He's not Jewish.
2. Does not have a college degree.
3. He's from a Red state (Arkansas, Oklahoma or Texas to be specific).
4. Not married to the baby's mother.
5. Is not into yoga or playing chess.
6. Doesnt have any long term plans for his future, and is not adding to his Roth IRA or other retirement fund.
Sometimes, I think the tattoo artists should be a little more level headed when it comes to certain types of tattoos people request. I know its business, and many times their business struggles, but if I were an artist, I would have declined this tat and referred the guy to another artist.
I've heard people's brains aren't fully functional until they are past their mid-twenties. That might help explain it?
