Since I've been divorced , yes I care how I look . When you are "on the market" you never know who you might run into. but I don't go around in a suit and tie.

I get incredibly irritated that I have to put on jeans instead of PJs when I go out...that's about the minimum I'll do. No make-up (I've worn make-up one time in the past year, and that was for a wedding.) And I usually wear a hoodie no matter how hot out it is simply to hide the fact that I'm not wearing a bra, because bras are the devil.

So, yeah, I look like a slob 99% of the time and couldn't care less.

I look the same all the time, always put together with a little make up on, even when I am home alone. I just feel better dressing nicely than not. I have never been a person who stays in their pjs all day.

Meh, not really. It depends how long I'll be running around for. Here and there I'll head out in just a t-shirt and jogging pants, but I try not to do that too much. When I do that, there is something......really obvious, that isn't generally polite to have really obvious in public. lol

As long as I'm clean and my clothes are neat and clean, I'm prepared for any fashionista encounters.

Just go shopping at any WalMart and you should get the answer to this question ! Those people don't care WHAT they are wearing !

I try to look presentable, but on my day off I sometimes don't shave and will throw on jeans and a T shirt, but I still don't want to look like a slob.

I do the same. It would be different if twenty, with super long, straight hair in a ponytail or looked good in hats - but none of that is the case. I always make an effort to look presentable, no matter what.

I try to look nice / decent whenever I leave the house. I can't afford to slouch it in public. You never know who you may see, or who may notice you. So regardless, I like to make-sure I look decent at the least. Not that it helps much lol But still...

At home, I can walk around with torn clothes. If I got out, I get something nice out of my closet. Clothes in my dresser drawers are the rags I wear at home.

I don't wear anything in public that I wear to bed. So that's a NO to pajama pants.

If I was not already dressed up properly, I'll put on clean jeans and a tshirt or sweater, make sure my hair is not all over the place, and voila! But no way I'm leaving the house in yoga pants, or loose tshirt with no bra, or something I stained while cooking etc... even if I'm only out for 15 minutes. It's called being respectful, towards myself and everyone else.
