I hand wash my bras with me while I take a shower. I would say I usually wash them about every five or six wearings unless I'm very sweaty or something like that.

In the summer I only wear them once before washing, as we generally have nearly 100% humidity the whole season. The rest of year, probably 3 wearing before washing.

I don't wash it. My wife does that. I just throw it back in the drawer.

NY summers are very pleasant, and certainly don't have 100 % humidity all season (Which lasts for a grand total of 1.5 months ). Come down to Georgia for a real summer . Granted, its always good to maintain good hygiene with undergarments.

Interesting thread!

I only wear bras once because I sweat a lot. I hand wash them at the end of the day in the sink with a little over a teaspoon full of Woolite or generic knock-off: soak for about three minutes, rinse, hang in shower.

In the cooler months, I also wash wool socks along with my bra and hang both on a plastic hanger with clothes pins.

Hand washing is quick and makes both last a lot longer.

I was about to start just such a thread (I just moved to Magnolia from Houston, BTW). What bra brands do you buy? Now that I've been fitted by a professional bra fitter, I've been wearing the Chantelle brand, and they run about $80 retail. Ouch! Buying them online saves a bundle, but my size is often not available. So I have started hand washing them every other wearing. They are an investment, so I don't trust the washer even on the delicate cycle. Unfortunately because of the humidity here, they take an age (more than a day) to line dry. That's also why I wash them every other wearing. I sweat like a pig just walking around my house. I'm not sure how to speed up the line process. I hope they don't mildew.

I wash mine by hand every few days. Usually I use woolite or some other good smelling body wash... whatever I can find!

Last week I put my bra on, got dressed, and rushed out of the house. It wasn't until hours later that I realized that the molded cups were inside out, so I was walking around with what looked like two empty bowls on my chest... convex instead of concave. Whoopsy. Looked like I had suction cups where my boobs were supposed to be.

Every 7-10 days. In the summer or in more humid climates, then every day or every other as needed.

I'm on Long Island, which is ridiculously humid from late May through late September. Granted, it ain't Georgia heat and humidity, but we're definitely triple H's
