This post just reminded me that I have a pink-and-white polka dot shirt, really cute, that I've never worn. Time to dig it out of my closet!

Not in street clothes. I tend to eschew most patterns.

I did get a cute maternity tankini, though, that is a black top with white polka dots, and solid black bottoms. I was skeptical, but tried it on, and found it cute.

No, I don't do polka dots-they don't suit me, for whatever reasons...
Last time I owned something with large spots was a shirt when I was in jr. high school, long long ago.

I dont like polka dots unless its maybe on a swim suit. I definitely have items I dont wear, some have unique patterns I seem to like when buying but later have second thoughts. I try to be more careful about it so I dont waste money.

I love polka dots! They're so festive. I have a navy and white dotted dress that I just love.

Clothing is so boring these days! Paisley, plaid, polka dots, tropical prints -- all so much fun to wear. But no -- all you find in the stores is brown, black and tan. Bleah. That's why I shop at vintage and thrift stores.

I bought a knee-length, off-brown dress with tiny beige dots and an abstract design on it, on sale. I bought it to wear to church.

In general, I don't care what people say about my clothing, but I got so many negative remarks about this dress both times that I wore it that it hung in the closet for two years before I finally gave it away before I moved.

Before that, I had this mustard-colored pantsuit with a green paisley print on strips of white around the sleeves and collars. That was another sale item that used to get negative reviews. Still, it was very warm and I wore it on the coldest days.

I don't recall ever wearing anything with polka dots but my mother was a great seamstress and she loved to work with dotted swiss fabric. So I had a few dresses made of dotted swiss. They were lined, of course, because you can see right through that material.

Me, too. I love finding unique pieces that no one else has.

I get tired of solids and large prints are too overwhelming for my size. The right size polka dot is the perfect way for me to get some patterns into my wardrobe.

Sometimes I think cleaning the closet is like a successful shopping trip because you find a lot of things you love, but just forgot about
