Heck, with NO barrier underneath a skirt, you could just have random germs blown/splashed microscopically up onto your crevice areas and never know how you got that herpes boil.
What could people possibly be thinking????????????????????? or rather, NOT thinking at all????
Yes i know someone who doesn't wear underwear with jeans, or hardly ever. It's just a nasty thought, since they also don't change their clothes every day. ewwwwww.
To my thinking you need at least 2 layers of clothing to even be moderately protected, and preferably 3, one of them impermeable to liquids, when you go out in public or sit on anything that unidentified others have sat on (maybe some identified ones too).
No wonder our foremothers used to wear several sets of petticoats under their dresses, it probably helped them stay alive and disease free.
Your opinion is of course your opinion but there is no scientific reason to back up your "microbial" hangups.

Door handles are still going to win.

I don't think of boi shorts and bikini cut panties as "granny panties." Infact only one type of briefs are truly granny panties and those are classic brief panties.

It's pretty clear that there is a definite camp that considers anything not a thong to be "granny."

Apparently but that don't mean they are accurate about things. I mean people who were stopped for a Jimmy Kimmel man on the street interview thought Obamacare and the ACA were two different things.

Granny and Grandpa didn't know they'd gone out of style.

You know there is a really old lady saying, "See! I knew they would come back in style."

There was an old guy once said, "I have underwear older than you!"

I first thought 'Why?' Then thought 'Eew!'

All I can say is (being a guy) I don't think bikini lines under pants/clothing, is attractive, I think it's care-less .and if that's what you thnk of your self fine. own it, acept it.
But if the view from behind matters take a good honest look at it.
You guys are doing selfies al the time ,use you camera for something useful.
