Rant, LOL - so I bought "whole" panties today (not sure what else to call them, usually wear bikinis but wanted full ones for skirts/dresses so no line shows) - I bought Warner's as they were hi-cut and a nice material. They have a sticker on the front proclaiming Hi-Cut, no pinches.... the stickers DO NOT peel off, I have fingernails if that matters, and tried to peel off so I could wash them - no go, they start to come up in a little tiny piece leaving lots of residue stuck. Back they will go......... sigh.
Is it something new that Warner's has done this? Apparently, nobody else has had the problem? (sorry, it just ticks me off that I spent money and now have to make another trip to return useless things).
I bought a bathing suit bottom recently that had that sticker thing in the bottom, supposedly to protect people trying it on?? Well, I neglected to peel it off before washing it prior to use, and that dang thing is permanent now, or at least pieces of it are. It's become part of the fabric it seems.
Would washing take that off of your Warners, you think? Maybe before you return them try washing one pair and see. (But if they are of the same type as that bathing suit sticker, just forget it!!)
Those tips are great for non-porous objects.. I would never use them on clothing.
Bathing suits should have a liner (and who on earth would try on w/underwear?) - anyway it's a shame that sticky residue remains (time, heat, etc. can affect that "glue" stuff)
Were they clearance items? May have been for a long time.
