"Perfect" is relative. "Disgusting" is relative. My point? Preferences vary from person to person. I prefer the girls on the left to their edited photos on the right.
Leave fat and normal weighted people alone, this is like different hardcore religion supporters attacking on the other side. Maybe next war is not a religion war but fat against anorexic
I think it's harmless. But I'm perplexed by all this obsession over other people's size.
I think that's awesome that you made that change for yourself. But that's key: You made the change for yourself. It was a decision you made and I'm glad it worked out for you. At the same time, an overweight person should not be "shamed" due to their weight. It's simply a matter of respecting others. Don't agree with their lifestyle choices all you want. Have a "problem" with them if you so choose. But out of a sense of common decency, keep it to yourself.
Meant to show in my post that I also believe shaming is out. Problem with them is in my head only. Some people may have health issues that cause their problem, others no excuse. My mother used to make fun of my younger sister years ago and it had a negative effect on her for years so I know the damage that can be done. You will agree that many of these larger women have beautiful faces and most often pleasant, fun people to be around.
I am overweight (although not female). My wife is also overweight. IMO, she is the sexiest woman in the world.
If you don't like it (or us), just shut up and go away.
Remember, to many people (more than you think), "Thin may be in, but FAT is where it's AT!"
Skinny, "fit" people, IMO, look sick!

I think this is the key to everything right here.
I simply do not understand why anyone feels the need to publicize their preference for body type in such hateful ways. You don't like big people? Fine, great. Go look at thinner people. Why the need to be cruel?
I don't even understand how someone can get to the point of finding other people disgusting or actually HATING them because they're bigger. Hating people by how they look...
As Eleanor Roosevelt said, "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.
Meghan looks horrible in the edited pic. Yes, sometimes they do look better when they photoshopped, but not Meghan here. She actually looks so much better (and healthier) before and I'm not saying that to be "PC". I really mean it.
As a male I find it even more daunting when they do it to guys, mainly considering that people don't even care when it happens:
Mod cut.
Notice the bigger arms, robust chest and thighs on the photoshopped side? Oh, they even gave him a subtly bigger "bulge".
Guys can be insecure and disquieted when it comes to this, but people scrub it off and would instead of focus on female celebrities being "inflated" (not that it's a bad thing, but people should call out on these matters equally).
For girls it's "fat shaming" and for guys I guess it's "non-muscle shaming"?

I disagree. And certainly not the one in the Thread pic. That woman on the right has a perfect body, the one of the left is disgusting looking. She might be a very nice girl, but, come on man......
Exactly!
