Ever used a heated eyelash curler? Which brands worked for you?
I used to laugh when I saw these in stores, but now my eyelashes are really turned all inward and wonky-looking. My eyelashes are super long, like a half an inch and they are outta control. Some curlers are like $30 so I.d like to know which to buy. Any ideas? Thanks!

I think this is a discussion you might like to have with an ophthalmologist.
(By the way, simple mascara—no eyelash curler of any kind needed—used correctly, will curl your eyelashes and keep them in place for many hours. If you don't want to add color, there are mascaras nowadays that are clear.)

Heated eyelash curlers? This is the first I've heard of them. I'm skeptical that there's actually a better result than with a regular eyelash curler, but I've never tried this new gizmo myself.
Eyelashes tend to lost their curl as we age. Curling them with a curler actually does help "open up" the eyes.
Not needed. I've been doing the trick of blasting a cheapo eyelash curler for a few seconds with a blow drier since I was a teenager.
You just test the metal with your fingers beforehand to see if it's warm to the touch but not too warm to be safe near your eye, and you get a feel really quickly for just how little an amount of time you need too shoot hot air at the curler for it to work.

Thanks Tabula and Annie.
Tabula I was going to ask how to keep from blow drying my eyeballs until I read your post to the end. LOL.
My life is practically unraveling at the seams, yet I am concerned about my eyelashes. Ah, life.

I'd go to sephora and ask to try one. They let you try anything there.
