I was thinking about purchasing the following skirt, Arabella – NOVEM & KNIGHT but in all honesty, I don't believe I'll ever wear it, because it may be a little too short.

What if I need to bend down, or what if the skirt accidentally comes up, without me knowing?? YIKES

Also, I'm curious, ladies when you wear short skirts, do you normally wear biker shorts rolled up underneath? I just can't imagine leaving the house without something underneath the skirt, just in case I have a fashion mishap.

Then don't buy it.

That would be your panties, drawers, whatever you want to call them.

I usually say, if you have to ask it is probably too short. And what works in celebrity life when you have handlers and bodyguards is rarely practical for normal people. I didn't see the skirt you were talking about, but that is my two cents.

Cute if you can pull it off, just wear micro shorts (aka hot pants or boy shorts) underneath.

Good point. It is easier to wear a short skirt if you have no junk in the trunk. Also that shape doesn't work well if it is that short if you have a high waist or short torso. Basically it will ride up really high as your waist is way up there. Then it way way way too short.

You could wear it with leggings or tights to diminish the wardrobe malfunction possibility.

Yep, way too short, especially for someone well over 25.

I was thinking about wearing hot pants underneath, or the skirt w/ leggings and the 50/50 Stewart Weitzman boots.

Well, you'd never be able to guess my true age by looking at me, I look closer to 28.
