Cotton underwear are usually the least expensive...in the multi-packs, you'll usually get 5 pairs of cotton for the same price as 3 pairs of microfiber.
IDK... the microfiber link shows 6 pair for ~$9 - that would mean 10 pair of cotton for the same price?
I am with Ohiogirl81.... Jockey fit the best and last a long time.
I cannot fathom fit and durability from ones that are under a dollar a pair.....
Do any of you know of a good, inexpensive site to buy underwear? I know logically they are worth the cost, but I cannot bring myself to buy them at full price. I am talking $3 and under a pair...

Nice stuff always goes on sale. Head to your nearest outlet mall, TJ Max, Ross's, Marshalls or just wait until clearence sales. Also even major deparment stores have cleareance sections where you can score really nice stuff and crazy low prices. You can get AMAZING deals. You do not have to have ulgy underwear even if you are on a budget. Happy shopping. Expensive does not mean nicer, more appealing or better quality. You just need to know where to look.

They have a 6 pack of cotton for $8, in that particular brand.
The ones that are cheaper, like the very basic fruit of the loom or hanes, will have a big pack of cotton for the same price as a smaller pack of microfiber or nylon.
All you have to do in order to become an expert in cheap underwear is have a teen daughter who stains her underpants and throws them out rather than washing them. I buy the cheapest underwear I can find for her...I just hit up the 25 cent clearance bin at my local walmart and got 8 pairs today.
For some reason I cannot stand to spend too much $$ on undies. So I usually stock up when VS or Fredricks is having a sale (averaging $2-$4 per pair) Depending on what kind of panties I need...
