I'm looking for something like these:

'1512921' | Chronograph Brown Crocodile Embossed Leather Strap Watch

https://conceptcus.files.wordpress.c...e_original.jpg

I would get the Boss one but I don't want something with a familiar designer name. And the 2nd watches are very nice but I'd like to keep looking.

My price range? Anywhere from $100 to $500.

I'm looking for something to wear with a dress shirt and tie. Something classy and professional but not gaudy.

I don't knot about stylish - but I have bought my husband several Citizen Eco-Drive watches at that price point. All have held up very well and he LOVES not having to worry about watch batteries anymore. (they are solar powered)

Why don't you want a familar designer? I'm no designer addict myself, but by limiting yourself to unknown brands, you have a much more limited selection. Anyway, those watches are very sharp looking. I'd like to know what qualities you want in a watch. There are so many features in a watch, that some knowledge of your desires would be helpful. I noticed these all have leather bands. Is that a requirement, or are you OK with a stainless steel or other band type? Do you prefer the chronograph face, and what size face are you looking for? Are you a man? It might seem obvious that you're a man based on the choice you showed us, but I wear a man's watch as my everyday timepiece, (A Fossil Dean with a blue face) and I'm a woman. This is a pic of my watch. Fossils are very nice watches available in anything from casual to dressy, and they come with an 11 year warranty (that's 11, not 1)

Women's Watches | Dillards

I like Skagen watches. They are quite thin and modern looking.

I actually own a Skagen, but when I retired my DH gave me a lovely Swiss watch, a Cyma. That is what I wear every day now.

I liked my Skagen. Super sleek. I traded it is in for a this smart watch:
Withings Activité

It looks like a watch. Still tracks my steps and sleep. I get loads of compliments and it comes with a silicon band when you are being sporty.

Official Tissot Website - Watches - T-Classic - TISSOT TRADITION - T0636101605200

http://www.tissotwatches.com/en-US/p...393603700.html

Its an actual Swiss watch maker brand that has been In business for almost a century vs a clothing brand that wants to expand market. what you are looking for in this brand runs between $200 to $300 for chronograph right in middle of your budget.

Citizen and Bulova both have watches very similar. The Citizen Eco-Drives are nice as they are solar powered. My mom has had hers for 6 years and it's still going.

Those Invicta watches look pretty snazzy on QVC. Most of them don't have 23 jewel movement but they're inexpensive and make a bold statement on your wrist; I suggest, 44mm or bigger
