Ladies---do you always wear your rings together? That is, your wedding and engagement rings? My mother and grandmother always wore theirs together, sort of a matched set. I always wear mine as a set, too. However, I leave my diamond at home if traveling, especially to foreign countries, etc. Its 3-carats, high quality, would attract attention.
I've noticed many women just wear their wedding bands, and wear their diamond for special occasions. So, what do the rest of you do?
I wear mine as a set most of the time and I won't leave home without them. I tend to take them off as soon as I come home (along with my watch), but before I walk out my door, everything is back on.
And I travel with my jewelry and then some. My jewelry is meant to attract attention.
I stopped wearing my rock because it was too large and was annoying (I didn't want it in the first place). I was happy to sell it when we divorced. The next marriage, I want a thin plain band only.
Is this thread what is known as a humble brag? Pardon me while I gag.
I think it's a legitimate question.
I sometimes wonder if I should wear my band on my left and my engagement ring on my right, which I often see women doing. I've just become to accustomed to wearing the pair on my left.
I do whatever is most comfortable. I wear my band at home and everyday running around. I put the other part of the set on when I get more dressed up. Both come off when I'm doing a dirty or messy job. I'd leave them both on all the time except just the band is the most comfortable.

Interesting, what countries abroad do you feel unsafe to wear your ring in? I've never felt like that traveling.
I always wear them together and only take them off for certain tasks/activities.
