Older Trends that Seem So Funny Now
The other thread got me thinking...remember how silly some fashion trends have been?
What are some trends that you'd like to forget? Were you guilty of it or just forced to watch as other people looked foolish?
2002-ish:...Von Dutch "trucker hats" on everyone...and yes I had one! What was I thinking? I would never wear that now.
1995-ish: JNCO skater jeans! I did not wear this...but thought it was hot when a guy did! Now I would puke if I saw someone in them.

1992-ish: For kids...buying Keds and taking out the shoe laces and replacing them with "curly and hot colored" chords laces.

THOSE ARE BACK!!! I'm not kidding. ACK!!!!
We went to an 80's party a few weeks ago. You can literally go to a nice mall and find EVERYTHING you need to pull off a VERY authentic 80's look. Well, I've yet to see a REAL Members Only jacket and parachute pants in a dept store BUT you can get them online. Hubby and I made it to the top 3 for the costume contest I had a PERFECT hair day for that event- scary

I did see those jelly shoes last time I went into the mall! They're as cheap now as they were then.
Can I just say that I have a long-lasting disgust for stirrup pants? Even when they were "in"....I would cut the stirrup off!
